What we don’t need is more tourism. What we need is care—less development, more protection. Help set up space for the community, not just to attract outsiders.

Invest in opportunities for the people who already live there—especially the artists, stewards, and creators who give this place its soul.
Let’s spend time teaching our children how to live alongside animals, how to garden, how to restore and protect habitat. That’s the kind of future that lasts.

And if you decide to go ahead and let it all be developed, shame on anyone who invests, buys property here at the cost of the land and its creatures. I don’t know much but I do know that more beating hearts will suffer than hearts that gain.
