I don't know a single sane person (outside of money-hungry politicians and mega-developers) that wants our beautiful beaches to be altered to attract tourism.
Removing sections of Wasaga Beach is absolute lunacy. Beaches are a natural highlight of tourism, home to hundreds of important species, and costs very little to maintain - especially if you compare that to spending millions or billions to build anything on these beautiful, natural and very loved areas.
This coastline, in particular, boasts some of the most beautiful sunsets in all of Ontario. No building or construction is going to add value to its natural beauty.
WE WANT TO KEEP THE BEACHES. WE DON'T WANT DOUG FORD'S QUESTIONABLE BACKROOM BUSINESS DEALS RUINING YET ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL PARK TO MAKE HIS RICH FRIENDS RICHER.
