This modification to the act is an awful idea. Turning provincial Park land into municipal land to be developed is horribly irresponsible. We as Canadians and Ontarians have a duty to preserve the natural environment for ourselves and future generations. This change opens up a dangerous can of worms as to the protections that our provincial parks provide to our environment. We need to be expanding protections, not reducing them.
