I believe the proposed transfer of the land in Wasaga Beach would be a poor decision as it would set a precedent for future transfers of land which would put our parks at risk. We have so much beautiful public park space and protected land in Ontario which many citizens enjoy daily. Altering the ownership/stewardship of the land opens it up for corruption. I trust that the leaders which have been elected will hear the voices of those who elected them and take requests like this into consideration over what would inevitably be a delayed development for a temporary and I uncertain boost in tourism.
