I am incredibly disheartened and disturbed at the proposed amendments to the legislation which would enable the sale of land that is crucial Georgian Bay shoreline habitat and home for the endangered piping plover. Additionally, as Wasaga Beach Provincial Park has been Ontario’s second most-visited Provincial Park in recent years, the sale of these lands would limit current and future generations from enjoying the beautiful outdoors our province has to offer. Our Provincial Parks should never be sacrificed for the profit of developers.
