I strongly oppose the short-sighted proposal to remove more than 50% of the shoreline of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park and give it to the town to develop. This will mean destroying the environment and habitat for endangered species like the Plover. Provincial Parks are owned by the people of the province and are not to be sold at the whim of a premier. The government does not have a "strong mandate" to do as it pleases and privilege developers over the environment.
