I feel that none of the lands within Wasaga Beach Provincial Park should be turned over to the Town of Wasaga. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is a beautiful park that is accessible to so many people in the GTA. As the population of southern Ontario increases so should its parkland. You only need to look at the development on Coastline Drive in Wasaga to see how pro-development and anti- environment the town of Wasaga is. I think that this is very short sighted consideration as well as a disasterous precedent to be setting for all provincial parks.
Please do the right thing and stop this now.
