There is absolutely no reason to remove a portion of protected land from the Wasaga beach provincial park, except to benefit private developers. If this portion of land is no longer a part of the Provincial Park, which is here for EVERYBODY, it is certainly going to be sold off to benefit the VERY FEW. This is not the way to increase tourism in the area and will massively negatively affect the ecosystem. This area is an important habitat for the endangered piping plover whose numbers need to be protected, not ignored. The current Ontario government has shown it has no regard for the environment but that is NOT in line with the wishes of Ontarians.
