Ontarians need this oasis.
I am reaching out to voice my strong support for maintaining the current state of our public beach. This natural space is a treasured part of our community—a place where families gather, children play, and residents connect with nature.
While economic development and modernization are often seen as positive, turning this pristine beach into a paved, commercialized area risks destroying its beauty and accessibility. Monetizing the space would limit public access and undermine the very essence of what makes this beach special.
Respect for community tradition, conservation of our natural environment, and giving everyone the freedom to enjoy nature are principles that should guide our decisions.
I kindly urge you to be a champion for Ontarians and scrap any plans that would pave or monetize our public beach, ensuring it remains a free, natural retreat for generations to come.
