This proposal feels like we are moving backwards as a province. Beach ecosystems are under threat in Ontario and required ongoing protection. People care about endangered species such as piping plovers and all the other organisms that benefit from the protection of their habitat. In addition, parks are for people - please do not prioritize the economy at the expense of the environment and the greater good of society. All three aspects (economy, environment, and society) must be well balanced as we grow.
