This feels like a continuation of the corruption that is happening around Ontario Place. Ontario tax taxpayers are footing the bill for the removal of public lands from public use the creation of a luxury spa, managed by a corporation that lied about their qualifications. And yet the Ontario taxpayers continue to pay. I feel a lack of confidence in this government's ability to protect the interests of future generations over short-term economic gain.
The Wasaga Beach site is a home to several species at risk and I believe there will be zero protections for these important species.
