Critically Endangered Species like Piping Plovers have a history of nesting on Wasaga beach and other areas on the Great Lakes. Those beaches must be protected and not sold off to private investors. It’s a very important issue to thousands of Canadians. Consult Birds Canada, for all the current stats on the plover populations.
