Please do not open the island for tourism, as this is another sad, sorry loss for habitat. Money isn't everything. Keep protecting Wasaga Beach's wild areas for perpetuity under the banner of Ontario parks. I'm tired of Doug Ford always chosing development over protection. As Joni Mitchell sings, you don't know what you've got, til it's gone.
