I am writing to express my deep concern about the amendments to this act. Firstly by moving forward this amendment will further endanger the Piping Plover. This is critical nesting habitat for this endangered species. Secondly, this is a provincial park! Public land. This government has zero right to sell this land , likely to developers.
As with the Greenbelt, hands off. Our parks and green spaces are not for sale. We cannot recreate them once they are gone. Please consider the at risk species and the natural environment for our kids and grandchildren.
