I believe green and public spaces should be preserved. Wasaga beach and provincial parks are a popular destination as it is. I have many fond memories of visiting Wasage beach with family and friends, I want to be able to have the same experience with my children and grandchildren. I want this experience for the future generations. Privatizing these places doesn't improve tourism beyond lining pockets and trying to provide profit for the greedy. People already have enough interest in these spaces as it is. We should have some pride in keeping Wasage beach as the largest fresh water beach in the world. We should have pride in keeping our national parks safe.

Not only do people use these areas for outdoor recreation but it is also an important habitat for endangered species. Privatizing and selling out and developing these precious places also sets a bad precedent for preserving other parks and waterfront areas. These areas hold more value than bringing profit to the greedy. Our climate is already suffering and these natural area and green parks need to be preserved and kept accessible for future generations.
