Please do not sell off any portion of this provincial park in Wasaga Beach for development. The benefits do not outweigh the costs. Once it is lost to us, it will be lost forever. We do not have enough protected spaces. Not only do the citizens of our province (and tourists) enjoy this space, it is one of only a few nesting spots used by the endangered Piping Plover.
We need to protect our Provincial Parks for these reasons, not sell them for financial gain - even if some of the gain benefits the province.
This proposal does not give me faith in the values of the current government.
