This proposal will be harmful not only to the local community and the citizens of Ontario, but to the environment.
Many of us have called Wasaga beach our home, our safe place, or our best memory. With some of the nicest views our province has to offer, Canada is recognized for our freshwater lakes and stunning views. Selling a foundation of our land to monetize what could be shared with generations to come is a deeply upsetting decision. I truly hope that this movement is cancelled and that citizens and visitors alike remain allowed to visit this beautiful beach exactly as it is.
