I am very concerned with the province even considering selling a portion of the Wasaga Beach provincial park to the town.
This park should remain a provincial park.
As a resident of Wasaga Beach l have serious concerns on the possible costs to the towns taxpayers if this sale moves forward.
The provincial parks are jewels that belong to all residents of Ontario.
No community should take over a park that belongs to the province.
Our government should be looking at ways to protect and improve our parks, ensuring they are here for current and future generations to use and enjoy, not considering selling them off.
