The removal of environmentally sensitive areas from parks and conservation areas for the purposes of business and tourism compromises endangered and protected species. This is a slippery slope that indicates governmental disdain for our environment and the welfare of our planet.
The piping plover population of Wasaga Beach dunes is sensitive, and requires ongoing government protection.
Please withdraw this proposal, and leave protections for all provincial park lands and endangered and at-risk species intact.
