I am not against tourism or economic growth however not at the expense of yet another bird species. Please protect the habitat of the piping plover by not turning this area over to the town for development. These little birds need our protection. Perhaps another source of income could be found for this town. This is too high a price to pay for short term gain. If we don't defend our wildlife we will lose it. That would be a terrible and irreversible consequence.
