Drive for economic growth through tourism is not a valid reason for destroying habitat for so many animals especially endangered ones like the piping plovers. When will we accept that when we make economic growth the # 1 priority, we often/usually threaten our own life support system. Short term gain (for some) long term pain (for most both human and non human)
