The extent of the town of Wasaga Beach exists because of the extensive provincial park beachfront parkland. Leave the park in its entirety for future generation of Ontarians. Provincial parks were never meant to be disposed of and taken out of possession of the the general public. This is a terrible idea. Wasaga Beaches politician's political goals and desires will have to take place on property that is not part of the Provincial park. Camping should be returned to Wasaga beach provincial park. It should never have been removed. This is a concensus of opinion of many people consulted in Toronto who have both property in the Wasaga area and who merely visit the beach on ocassion. They do not like tampering with the property assigned to the Provincial park network of parks by reducing that, especially the crown jewel that Wasaga Beach really is from a recreation perspective. There is nothing to stop redevelopment outside of the provincial park boundaries.
