Please keep Wasaga Beach under provincial control. The Piping plover is under enormous stress and this is the last successful breeding beach left in Ontario. Please consider the importance of this area for this endangered species. It needs the protection that provincial legislation can provide on into the future. There is room for all living creatures but it fall upon us to ensure that the most vulnerable are protected. Please do not transfer ownership and control out of the provinces hands. You gave the power to make a lasting difference here that will pay forward further generations of Ontarians and Canadians.
