I am a senior currently living in Oshawa, Ontario. I grew up in Thornbury, and I went to Wasaga Beach with my family when I was younger. I then moved around and didn't see the beach again until I was married in my early 20's. I came with my wife who also went to the beach with her family growing up. We then introduced my granddaughter to the beach and we have been going every year with her since then. The beach was really nice and then you made it not as beautiful. Now you are going to destroy my favourite beach for good. You really don't know how many tourist's you are going to lose because the beach is going to die. Also, those tall buildings might sink or flood. I see the construction going on occasionally on the webcam. It makes me so sad. Please stop what you are doing and return the old stores and restraints on the beach front. Our family is dreading what is going to happen to our beach. So stop. Just stop please.
