I believe the proposal to initiate cormorant hunting in Ontario has not been researched enough. Do not make this a law without proper research. Give this native bird the opportunity to share landscapes they are native to. Let top down predators regulate this large populations effectively and efficiently as part of natural ecological cycles. Humans will leave thousands of bullet riddled rotting cormorant corpses all over the landscape, these birds have been vilified for hundreds of years.
