As a nature lover, I am amazed how people in the government have become completely obsessed with following protocol and not public opinion. We have wonderful resources like Wasaga Beach Provincial Park and beautiful nature trails that are so important. Protecting 30% of Ontario's land by 2030 seems to have fallen way behind. That makes no sense.
Be aware, that this is not something that can be easily fixed after you destroy or remove parts of nature.
Look at the wildfires. Part created by man's folly and the other global warming.
I have signed more petitions than ever before. Why? Because the trust we put in government does not exist. What happened?
Our taxes pay for our lands and living to be protected.
Yet, that is not the case.
Wake up!
Make us proud to live in Ontario and also admire a caring government.
