Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, like all provincial parks, belongs to the people of Ontario, present and future. The current government has no moral right to sell off all or part of a provincial park, Bill 5 not withstanding. The people of Ontario have not given their permission for any sell-off. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is one of the most visited parks in Ontario and the beach is enjoyed by all. Sadly the result of development will most likely be to put this beautiful beach in private hands, and cut off access for the people of Ontario. It is the job of provincial government to protect our heritage, not sell it off. Furthermore the changes to the Act will set an alarming precedent. I object to this proposal in the strongest possible terms.
