I am shocked to hear that the provincial government wants to decrease the size of Provincial Parks to allow development. Provincial Parks are public property and create for a reason, usually because the area is significant and should be protected. But even more important is the fact that Provincial Parks are for the public and have been paid for by the public. Hundreds of thousands of people enjoy exploring these parks in a multitude of ways. To even consider selling them off for development is unethical and immoral. I fear this is the beginning of many more inappropriate actions by the government concerning natural areas that have been paid for by the public for many decades. The loss of threatened species and habitats can't be replaced. Please reconsider your actions.
