While I am very happy this area is finally being utilized, I am extremely disappointed that it will be both a) not entirely low income/geared to income housing, and b) that it will include high rises. The area will be overwhelmed. Why not entirely low/mid rise buildings? Why not majority geared-to-income?

Those for-profit high rises, will they be for families, or will we continue to stack cheap 1-2 bedroom apartments that no one wants to live in, and they will simply be used as rental units?

The neighbourhood needs actually affordable housing (it is my neighbourhood). It doesn't need another overpriced high rise that depletes a beautiful, charming community. Please consider the long-term health of Hamilton, and what the people actually need rather than being puppeted by developers.
