Rock climbing is an important part of Canada’s outdoor culture. It promotes healthy, active lifestyles, attracts tourism, and connects people with the natural environment in a respectful way. Climbers care deeply about protecting the places we climb and work closely with land managers to balance recreation and conservation. I support continued access for climbing within Parks Canada areas and encourage collaborative management that keeps these spaces open and sustainable for future generations.
