I’ve had a camp on black bay for 6 years and never take more than we need as a family of 4. We often fish out front our camp for walleye and on the odd occasion caught smaller fish. So we are clear when I say smaller fish I mean 20 plus inches. In the 6 years fishing on black bay I’ve only caught one fish that was less than 18 inches. The slot sizes proposed would eliminate fishing for everyone. Being clear I do agree closing fishing during winter months would help with sustainability of our fishery. I do not agree that changing slot sizes would help. A suggestion maybe would be 1 walleye no size restriction and 1 smaller than 20 inches. I agree that our fishery is important to everyone, but we do need to be realistic. I hope this helps
