To the Government of Ontario…

To the Government of Ontario,
I STRONGLY protest the Proposed Legislative and Regulatory Amendments to Enable the Species Conservation Act, 2025. The proposed amendments would GUT the Endangered Species Act and betray and impoverish all Ontarians and Canadians. The proposed amendments favours the narrow interests of developers and destroys the rights of all citizens - all humans - to benefit from the natural world that the government is endangering with the proposed Species Conservation Act. It is WRONG. If developers cannot carry out their business without destroying the heritage of all others, then they must not be allowed to carry out their business. If the government can think of no way to support developers without destroying our common heritage, then it's time to change the government. If the Species Conservation Act is passed, voters will remember - and act.
