I am writing to oppose these changes as a resident of this beautiful province that can thank the native species for this beauty, they deserve protection and no financial argument should negate that. Evidence-based conservation shouldn’t be overruled for an individual political party’s interest. Just like humans need a third space to be social and fulfill our needs, animals need more than just their nest or dwelling to be protected. If you care about the outdoors, other living beings, or even just our own lively hood as this will impact farming and thus our food supply, then you should oppose these changes.
