I oppose putting economic growth ahead of the protection of species. Conservation and protection should be based on scientific evidence, and should not be politically vetoed. The definition of habitat should not be narrowed, recovery depends on future restoration zones. Bring back mandatory recovery plans and reinstate the Advisory Committee. Reverse the exclusion of aquatic species and migratory birds. Stop the exemption of permits from public comment. Transparency is non-negotiable.
