I represent FP Mayfield West (Caledon) Inc., located within the Mayfield West Secondary Plan in Caledon, Ontario.
We have reviewed the October 2025 Proposed Narrowed Area of Interest that was provided by the Northwest Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Transmission Corridor Identification Study Team as part of their consultation process and are supportive of it and encouraged by it. We would ask that Proposed NAI described above be approve and implemented expeditiously. Ontario suffers from a housing supply and affordability crisis, which the development of major greenfield areas such as Mayfield West can assist in alleviating. Approving the proposed NAI is critical in facilitating expeditious development.
