I do not support this Bill. This is an over reach of provincial government power in municipal affairs.
Additionally, this Bill ignores the numerous peer reviewed scientific articles that discuss induced demand, and the need for alternative travel alternatives that are not just roads for cars. Bike lanes are an important part of city infrastructure, they benefit people in a wide variety of ways, and municipalities should not be limited by these laws to build more bike lanes.
