I am completely opposed to the proposed cormorant hunt in Ontario. All evidence indicates that the cormorant population is at a sustainable level. They eat fish and nest in trees, and may be a minor inconvenience to some people. However, if some people object to cormorants, then the government should be advocating on behalf of the defenceless birds, and not on selfish people.
