I would like to see better service across Northern Ontario. Currently, Greyhound is the only way to travel between Winnipeg and communities along highway 17 in Northern Ontario. The other thing is have at least 2x bus daily between Thunder Bay and Toronto/Ottawa, it is frustrating having to get on the bus in the middle of the night and arrive at a odd hour. We need more choices in the North.
Also, we need an expansion of bus service to Manitoulin Island (at least Little Current if not Gore Bay / South Baymouth). Manitoulin Island is home to many first nations, which have no access to public transportation off of the island (other than the ferry during the summer months). This means that citizens of the island (poor, disabled, etc.) do not have access to jobs, education, or health care in Sudbury / North Bay / Sault Ste. Marie. We are all citizens of Ontario and pay taxes in Ontario - we should have equal access to all that Ontario has to offer.
