As a sport fisherman I like to enjoy the scenery anytime I'm out fishing and when you come across whole islands that are dead or dying because of the cormorants sitting in the trees by the dozens or hundreds and their toxic waste kills everything below it really takes away from trying to enjoy your time out on the water. I don't hunt but I know lots of people that would like to shoot as many as possible to slow down or stop the numbers from growing. They also eat everything and anything that swims and eventually we will be loosing places to enjoy fishing because of the population growth and lack of stocking. As a member of 4 fishing clubs and a number of fishing groups it will be a shame if thing don't change very soon.
