Please do not block new bike lanes from being built! The Ontario government has no business telling the city what to do. I ride my bike all year long and also own two cars. Biking is hands down the best (cheapest and healthiest) way to get around the city. We need to stop catering to car culture. The city was built long before cars existed. I’ll admit that it is not feasible for everyone to ride a bike, but if we build safer and more infrastructure, I believe more people will. The city is constantly growing and will keep growing. You will never, ever solve gridlock! It will only get worse. Invest now in cycling infrastructure and transit!
