Sure. Take your vehicle. And then just try to park it. Go ahead. Maybe you will be lucky.
Getting anywhere in Toronto is almost matched whether you take a vehicle or a bicycle. When you get to your destination, finding a parking spot for a vehicle is like participating in The Hunger Games.
When I could not afford to take transit, I rode a bike. I also walk when bike riding is not safe.
Transit is expensive.
In today's world with ever increasing food costs and rent, and the transit expensive — a bicycle to get around is easier, faster and cheaper.
If you want to increase vehicular traffic — mandate smaller vehicles. Two small cars can fit in one parking space.
Institute a road tax to be in Toronto.
When a vehicle parks — it closes a whole lane of traffic behind it. This is blocking traffic in high traffic areas
When a vehicle has a flat tire — it sits there. When a bicycle stops, it is not a problem AND it can be removed immediately.
