The bike lanes on Bloor…

The bike lanes on Bloor anywhere West of Keele are terrible for the neighbourhoods, transit and people trying to get to work. These bike lanes have caused so much traffic in my neighbourhood. The lanes sit unused while cars are lined up waiting to move.
The promise was to remove the bike lanes where they don’t make sense. Now please do it. The ‘build it and they will come’ has not happened. What has come, is the traffic, the speeding through our side streets, lost street parking, and dangerous lines of sight on every corner. That is what these lanes have caused.
Time to remove the Bloor bike lanes and give us back our streets, our safety, and our time…
