Ontario is going backwards with Ford’s conception of how people travel in towns and cities. Globally, one can see that infrastructure has been inclusive of all types of travel, especially with regard to cycling. It’s good exercise and environmentally sound. If the Premier would take the time to actually study the benefits of expanding cycling routes throughout Ontario, he would see that it would be a success story like it’s already been proven in other countries like Denmark, The Netherlands and other countries where winter is a factor.
