This proposal takes most of the responsibility toward preserving & protecting our at-risk bird populations away from the government and puts it on ordinary citizens through "voluntary" reporting. This is outrageous and highly problematic.

The government should be making significant investments in programs to protect and recover Ontario's birds and their environment.

I urge you to step up and take responsibility for the recovery of at-risk bird populations. What a sad state it would be to just have these species vanish due to government neglect and abandonment.
