As a citizen of Toronto I strongly oppose this bill. It undermines what's best for the health, safety, and well-being of people in Ontario. It contributes to more dangerous roads, less livable cities, and it discourages the use of active transportation through cycling -- which can keep our air clean and our bodies healthy.
I believe in an Ontario where people want to gather in community, where people feel safe on streets, and where citizens' well-being is a priority of our government.
The facts are clear: bike lanes do not cause traffic congestion. Let's leave this ridiculous argument in the past and build the province of the future.
