As a resident of Ontario, I am vehemently opposed to this initiative. Removing species protections that were put in place based on rigorous scientific research and monitoring is a detriment not only to birds, but to people and the environment as a whole.

This dangerous false narrative of sacrificing nature for the sake development as a means to improving the economy and supposedly people will not help anyone in the long term.

Birds improve people's well being, insect and pest population balances, as well as plant seed distribution. They are an integral part of the natural systems which we are part of.

I vote no for this proposition.
