Ontario has previously set an example for the world on the protection of endangered species, these steps away from science based monitoring to uneducated politicians bull dozing through habitat is sending us backwards. At a time when our water is being threatened on all sides removing multiple species of fresh water mussels protection is ridiculous self sabotage at best and actively encouraging pollution at best.
