Have you heard of the Red-headed Woodpecker? What about the Peregrine Falcon? You must have seen a Monarch Butterfly or a Snapping Turtle? These are only 4 of the 106 species who you are proposing should be removed from the species at risk list. They are also 4 of the reasons why I strongly oppose these changes and this proposal. Keep the 106 species on the species at risk list and repeal Bill 5. The Ontario government governs and has a responsibility to protect not only the people of the province, but also the species at risk in this province.
I am a Canadian citizen, Ontario taxpayer, and voter who will never forget the Ontario government's decisions to abandon and endanger our wild places, wildlife and species at risk. We are Nature. To Protect Ontario, you must Protect Nature.
