I was born and raised in Canada. All my life I’ve been told to protect animals, which isn’t some new concept, I know that. The animals deserve this planet far more than we do. We’ve done nothing but destroy their world to better our own. The animals have never done anything to cause us harm so why should we do that to them? We are not better than animals, we are animals, why can’t we treat them fairly? Just because they can’t speak? How is that fair?
Every species that is at risk has a very important role in ecosystems. Food chains can collapse without them. The animals at risk are needed a lot more than we are. Honestly, if I could choose, I’d give the planet to the animals. They would take far better care of it than us.
I know this isn’t a concern for any government officials, but if we want humankind to prosper, we have to take care of the Earth. If we destroy the planet now there is no future for our kind. I know how selfish governments are. The officials only care about themselves and no other human being. We aren’t blind. We see how every choice they make only affects them.
