I remember 1967. So much optimism: Expo’67, the Leafs won The Stanley Cup, and “A Place to Stand” was being sung. When I served overseas I shared with people the natural beauty of Ontario. I was proud to show my visiting English relatives the
natural wonders of my province.
NOW, we have a provincial government that would destroy much of it for PROFIT.
Bill 5 is wrong. Like many recent asinine attempts by the Ford government (Greenbelt, Ontario Place), it’s a ham-fisted blunder.
Decisions made now will impact Ontarians forever. STOP BILL 5.
